A 9 hour car trip from Vancouver to Banff, passing by Kamloops, Golden and Lake Louise. During our drive, we saw up to 4 bears from the road...amazing...
Banff is still the marvelous town I remember from my last trip in 2004, when we won the UCI downhill World Cup in Calgary. The main Banff avenue with many shops and restaurants at each side, leading to the Bow river falls and the great Bow and Frasier valleys.
We have spent 4 wonderfull days in this precious town, riding horseback trails, having a bath in the Upper Hot Springs 39ºC pools, hiking through dense forests and riding my bike on some of the best trails I've ever seen!!! Word!!! Deers, goats, squirrels and some hidden mooses added some extra sauce to my rides!!! It's a pity our stay here in Banff is over, but tomorrow we leave to Jasper, still in Alberta, and we hope we'll enjoy the most.
